Keith was born in Copalis, Washington and lived in San Francisco until 2001.
He served in the U.S. Maritime Service in the Pacific from September 1941 until July 1946. Keith was a plumbing contractor and owned his own business until he retired and moved to Walnut Creek. He began his golf career as a caddy at the Northwood Golf Club near the Bohemian Grove in Monte Rio at the age of 12 and continued to play for 70 years.
Keith was an avid 49er fan since the Kezar days.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth in 2010 and his son Daniel in 1993. He is survived by daughters Gail Mutter and Deborah Hansen-Ching as well as brother-in-law Cliff Partridge. He was also blessed with three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
